About The Course

About the Course

The challenge with ISSB and the UK Sustainability Reporting Standards is no longer understanding what the standards say. Organisations have to determine which sustainability-related risks and opportunities could reasonably be expected to affect their prospects, work out where those risks sit in the business, and assess how they influence strategy, cash flows, access to finance and financial reporting.

That creates a direct connection between sustainability reporting and traditional financial reporting — and it is where most reporting teams get stuck.

This masterclass moves beyond a standards walkthrough. Participants follow a single sustainability-related risk through the full reporting process: identification, assessment, business and financial effects, and finally the accounting assumptions and judgements that may need to be reconsidered.
