As Environmental Lead, liaises, strategizes and problem solves with senior SMP Alliance and BMJV and National Highways leadership and all divisions within the project, including design, Sustainability, Energy efficiency, Health and Safety, site teams and commercial.
Planning, assessments, execution, monitoring, controlling, and closing the projects ensuring environmental compliance with environmental legislation.
Organise and manage all aspects of the Environmental team and all document control, creation, filing, reviewing and approval (EMP-CEMP-MMP-SMP-WMP-NVMP-PMU5-EPWMS-LMP), overseen REAC document handover stages.
Regular liaison with external stakeholders, EA, NE, WT, FC, NRW, WW, SSSI, Local Authorities and Landowners, LWT’s.
